Our mission.

Dr. Rocks Musica y Arte A.C is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2017 with a base of operation in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato State, Central Mexico. Each of its founding members have a long history of promoting the arts, music and education, both in Mexico and overseas. We assembled together because of our common goal of wanting to give something back to society. Having all of us been successful as professionals in our corporate, educational and research careers we decided it was time for us to “fill our containers” with something more meaningful by helping others reach their potential. We believe that society as a whole benefits when people spend more time practicing and learning the arts. We want to reach out to the vulnerable and the poor because music and the arts strengthen the development of people; they create a more favorable environment for learning in the community, and improve the quality of  life because they operate on the most positive aspects of cognitive behavior and of physical and emotional well being. Dr. Rocks Musica Y Arte A.C. will bring the arts and music throughout activities and strategies that will advance the social network and encourage people to engage and interact with others in more constructive ways.
